What is Acupuncture?
• Acupuncture is one of the many branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into specific points along the course of the meridians. Acupuncture is used to restore the normal balance and flow of Qi, so organs and body systems can work together in harmony as intended. This balance sets the stage for the body to repair itself and maintain in a healthy state.

Do the needles hurt?
• The needles usually do not hurt, except an occasional pinching sensation.

Are acupuncture needle sterile and safe?
• Yes. The government requires acupuncturists to follow very strict sterilization procedures. In addition, pre-sterilized needles are manufactured, packaged, and shipped in sterilized containers to ensure compliance with the law.

How many treatments will I need?
• Due to the fact that each patient's health problem is unique and that each person responds differently to treatment, the number of treatment and the frequency may vary. Chronic conditions usually take longer to resolve than acute ones. Normally one to two treatments per week, monthly visits for health maintenance or seasonal sessions.


What is Qi?
• Qi is the vital energy of any living organism and source of all movement and change in the universe. Energy we create from the digestion of food, air and liquids and how we interact with our environment via exercise, meditation, etc.

What is Qigong (Chi Kung)?
• Qigong (sometimes spelled "Chi Kung") is a unique Chinese exercise system. Through individual effort, practitioners build up their health and prevent illness by combining discipline of mind, body and the body's "Qi" (vital force).

What is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?
• Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, also known as Cosmetic Acupuncture or Acupuncture Facelift, is a painless, non-surgical and safe treatment method used in fighting the aging process.
